AFRICAN FOOTPRINT ALLSTAR

African Footprint Allstar invites audiences into a vibrant and energetic concert experience rooted in the Ghanaian Highlife tradition. With infectious rhythms, powerful melodies, and dance at its core, the ensemble creates a lively space for community, connection, and shared joy.
The concert builds bridges between cultures and people through the universal language of music, celebrating the meeting of Denmark and Ghana. At the same time, it supports the work of the African Footprint Foundation, which uses music and health initiatives to strengthen communities in both Denmark and Ghana.
We look forward to welcoming you during Aarhus Festuge for a concert filled with rhythm, warmth, and human connection – and a reminder of music’s unique ability to bring people together across backgrounds and generations.
The concert is free of charge and takes place outdoors in the turquoise garden.
AFRICAN FOOTPRINT FOUNDATION
African Footprint Foundation works to establish an ensemble of both master drummers and aspiring musicians, ready to perform at events and participate in meaningful projects. Their goal is also to create an inspiring environment and opportunities for developing musicians and students interested in African music, and to give all citizens of Aarhus the chance to engage with African music and dance.
