Bugs is an Aarhus-based record label and event association that provides a platform for releases, concerts, and workshops, with a focus on experimental and artist-driven formats.

ADA CAKMAKLI

ada cakmakli is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Istanbul, currently studying music in Aarhus. She writes songs rooted in folk, alt-rock, and melancholic singer-songwriter traditions, exploring everything from magic and love to all the other little oddities that come with being alive. Deeply inspired by nature and human relationships, she expresses her emotions through intricate guitar melodies and raw vocals.

This spring, ada released her debut album beastiarium, a heartfelt project drawing inspiration from herobservations of humanity and love in the world.

On stage, she is joined by a large ensemble of close friends and fellow bandmates.

MIKKO JENSEN

Mikko Jensen writes powerful, introspective music that explores the encounter with emotion and the experience of seeing oneself in a state of change. Shaped by turbulent memories from his early years and a curious look back, his music forms melancholic soundscapes adorned with raw, destructive elements.

Amidst dark chords and Mikko’s inward-looking expression, a sense of hope and forward motion emerges just as strongly. His lyrics are approached with uncompromising honesty and spiritual curiosity, accompanied by an atmospheric fusion of folk, electronica, and rock. In his solo performance, Mikko explores new songs from an album currently in the making, striving to create an intense, shared sensory experience and an intimate space to feel both the ugly and the beautiful.

CHÆK

CHÆK is a Danish band playing crossover punk. The band consists of four young musicians from Aarhus, and with their high energy and explosive sound, it is hard to stand still when CHÆK takes the stage. With youthful rebellion at heart and their amplifiers turned up to MAX, CHÆK have already brought their full throttle mayhem to stages across Denmark.
