FREE WORKSHOP | UNDERSTANDING LIVE SOUND | AUDIO BEAR
NXT LVL AARHUS
turkis and NXT LVL Aarhus invite young artists and musicians to take part in a free workshop programme designed to strengthen the independence of emerging artists working without the support of a record label.
You know the feeling. You're out playing a concert, but there wasn't enough time for a proper soundcheck. "Damn, it's frustrating not being able to hear what's going on."
Come and learn how you, as a musician, can help your sound engineer stay on top of things before and during a show, so you can feel comfortable on stage and sound absolutely amazing.
Together, we'll build a basic understanding of the technical side of being on stage and learn how to help venues understand your concert setup. This will increase the chances of arriving at a venue where all the microphones and stands are already set up and ready for you.
The workshop is taught by Audio Bear (house technician at Volume Village and touring sound engineer).

We have space for a maximum of 16 participants!
A communal dinner will be provided.

With support from the Danish Arts Foundation, the Tuborg Foundation, and KODA Kultur, we have been able to invest DKK 30,000 in bringing in skilled professionals who can share their knowledge and experience with you — completely free of charge.
