“My name is Albert Ehlers Uhd, I’m 25 years old and based in Aarhus. I work as a booker and production manager at turkis, where I have been part of the organisation since 2023 – first as a volunteer and, since last summer, as part of the core team. Alongside my work at turkis, I am involved in several other cultural projects. I am the chair of MUX, a cultural association that presents interdisciplinary concerts around the city. I also work as a stage manager at PHONO and as an artist producer at Alter Festival.”

“My name is Barış Çıtırıkkaya, I am 43 years old, father of two boys, and live with my partner in Aarhus. I value movement, reading, cultural experiences – especially music – and enjoy playing chess. Relationships and community are important parts of my life. I am co-director, booker, and curator at turkis, and the founder of Det Turkise Telt, the organisation behind turkis, which began as a festival in 2010. My background includes teacher training, a Master's degree in Music Education and Didactics from DPU, and the Global Music Master (GLOMAS) programme at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus.”
