ABOUT SABS

SABS is a selector and music curator with a background in anthropology and a deep understanding of global musical cultures. Her Roots & Hybrid repertoire spans Psychedelic Rock, Global Roots, Afrobeat, Arabic Disco, Desert Blues, Balkan Punk & New Wave, Oriental Dub, Avant-Garde, and Global Club sounds.

She curates her sets primarily on vinyl, complemented by digital releases from Bandcamp when tracks have not been pressed to record or are otherwise difficult to obtain. SABS closely follows new releases while also embracing timeless classics, creating a cohesive and energetic flow where both the records and the music selection take centre stage.

With 16 years of experience behind the decks, SABS has supported both emerging and established artists and curated sets for festivals across Denmark and internationally. The result is a distinctive musical journey that is knowledgeable, globally inspired, and deeply engaging for audiences.
