SATELLITE SYNTHESIZER
Experience the official Aarhus DEBUT of the revolutionary SATELLITE SYNTHESIZER. Behind the project are two Aarhus-based creators who have achieved nothing less than a global breakthrough: They have invented a method for creating live sound beyond Earth’s atmosphere – something never done before!
This will be a truly unique concert experience in the colourful surroundings of turkis, featuring a stellar selection of international and local guest musicians.

It all happens by hacking into an enormous network of satellites in space. The network will begin to oscillate, creating gigantic standing sound waves shaped by cosmic noise, radiation and data errors in space.
During the concert, the guest musicians will send their live sounds into this network spanning more than 200,000 kilometres. The sounds will then return to the stage transformed – creating a musical dialogue with outer space.

The project was created by Aarhus-based musician Snöleoparden and Aarhus-based engineer and sound artist Kim Daniel Borch.
