TURKIS IS LOOKING FOR A NEW COMMUNITY MANAGER - FOR THE COMMUNAL MUSIC SCENE

turkis is looking for a new community manager, who knows and recognizes the importance of community in music. Someone who looks to accessibility and joint efforts as the pillars of the music scene of the future. And someone who wishes to work towards this scene, with Roots&Hybrid-music as their foundation.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a community manager at turkis you curate and coordinate both recurring activities and one-off events and concerts. The role requires good social qualities, event understanding and the ability to structure several projects at once. The work itself is done together with the other programming colleagues at the office, a wide array of external partners and all the volunteers in ‘den turkise familie’.

YOUR TASKS WILL BE

- meetings and relationship care with external actors (new and recurring)
- making agreements for one-off events and recurring activities
- collaborating with actors working as everything from volunteers to professionals
- curation of the turkis program together with other programming colleagues
- twice a year collecting leads from your work in relevant festival programming

The application deadline is Sunday, 13 September. Interviews are expected to take place in week 39, and we wish to fill the position as soon as possible hereafter.
