Imagine floating in a weightless moment.
Nothing before, nothing after, only a now in which all you know is that it was all worth it.
“Wings of Wax” is a devised performance inspired by the myth of Icarus and his hubris. It explores youthful ambition, solar eclipses, and fractured hero narratives.
With wings of wax, we reach upward toward the light, toward freedom, toward the sun. Because we dream of creating a new world, and in our recklessness, of leaving behind something greater than ourselves.
