At writing songs is one thing. Selling the story behind your music is another. A strong press release is often the first encounter industry professionals, media, and bookers have with you. That’s why it’s essential to be able to communicate your sound, identity, and story clearly and professionally.
This evening, we’ll work with practical tools and techniques used in the music industry when artists need to position themselves and cut through with their message.
We’ll take a hands-on approach and test the methods in practice. The goal is not necessarily to leave with a finished press release, but with a sharper understanding and practical tools you can use again and again in developing your artist profile.
Please bring a laptop, tablet, or notebook and pen.
