YOGA CONCERT
DEN TURKISE HAVE
Kumbhaka Yoga School and RUS2 welcome you to a new form of practice where yoga sequences meet intuitively improvised live music.
The sequences are inspired by the five elements — earth, water, fire, air, and ether. Each element is accompanied by a corresponding yoga sequence, and we conclude with a long, shared relaxation.
The session lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, after which we gather for a cup of herbal tea and a conversation before returning to the world beyond.
All you need to bring is an open mind and attentive ears.
You are welcome to borrow a yoga mat from us or bring your own.
Participants of all levels are warmly welcome.
Tickets can be purchased at the door via MobilePay or cash.
ABOUT KUMBHAKA
Kumbhaka Yoga School offers teachings in yogic philosophy and practice in the heart of Aarhus. Founded by siblings Kristian and Johanne Thuesen, the school aims to introduce more practitioners to the deep roots of yoga through workshops with a variety of focal points.
These workshops explore different aspects of yogic philosophy, including postures, pranayama, yogic ethics, and meditation. At the heart of our work is a desire to create a space where yoga is not reduced to performance, flexibility, or aesthetics, but experienced as a living and holistic practice.

ABOUT RUS2
RUS2 creates spiritual and intuitive music without predefined structures, drawing its inspiration from the present moment. Their music touches on the existential dimensions of being and existence in time and space. It responds to the room and the people within it, allowing it to move in many different directions — often meditative, melodic, and beautiful, and at times explosive and intense.
RUS2 consists of Jens Munch, Morten Nottelmann, and Julie Ørnholt, all of whom have extensive experience within the genre of intuitive improvisation. They are highly accomplished musicians who approach music with great humility and deep respect for its essence.
Jens Munch – Synthesizers, organ, and effects
Julie Ørnholt Bøtker – Vocals, percussion, and various instruments
Morten Nottelmann – Drums
